What to expect after your procedure
Most patients go home the same day or after one night in an NABH/JCI-accredited hospital. With a gas bubble, head positioning is usually needed for several days, and flying or travelling to high altitude is unsafe until the bubble has fully absorbed, so international patients should plan an in-country stay of 2–8 weeks depending on the gas used. Vision improves gradually over several weeks to a few months.
